Review: The Royal Treatment

Synopsis:

This movie tells the story of Isabella, a struggling beautiful hairdresser in the Bronx New York, who was accidentally invited to give Prince Thomas of Lavania kingdom a haircut on his visit to New York. Isabella after witnessing a maid being maltreated spoke up and also walked out on the job, this meeting was followed by other encounters between the prince and Isabella, She and her crew visited lavania to render beauty services to the prince and his Fiancée for their marriage and ughhh, you’ll have to watch to understand.

The Review:

The plot and the storyline were wonderful, but I cannot say the same for the acting, Isabella and Prince Thomas’s first encounter lacked connection, it seemed like the director was in a hurry to create a chemistry between them which did not seem believable. The lead characters failed to draw me in as a viewer. There were so much unnecessary advocacy acts by the lead female character. I cringed each time the Prince looked into Isabella’s eyes. It was an “ok” film which would have been awesome with the right cast.
